In a world with green territories, and gray cities, roam canids of all sorts. Dogs, Hybrids, and Wolves are the most common to be seen. We may view them as the same sort of animal, but they see themselves quite differently. Wolves believe that they are the pure, original canid, and think hybrids are most.. well, impure. Dogs, well, they are viewed dirt on the ground. The dogs themselves think that even though they evolved from the wild and free wolf, that they are evolutionized and therefore more powerful. Hybrids are just caught in the middle, not sure what side they are on.
For years they have been at each other's throats over this fact, with wolves stalking the outer edges of cities, making sure the dogs know who stalks them in the dark, and the dogs doing the same thing with the wolves, only using their humans as the weapon. Once again, hybrids are caught in the middle.
Over time, the hybrids got sick of being overlooked and understated, finally grouping together as one pack to put a stop to all the racism. The wolves quickly followed suit, organizing the smaller packs into a a joined effort, in order to make the dogs and hybrids see where they stood. The dogs, hyping for a fight, did the same, bringing all sorts of breeds into the circle. They began attacking each other in hopes of showing the opponent that they were faster, stronger, and smarter.
At one point in time, it got so bad, that wolf, hybrid, and dog populations began to sway, and then each race almost went extinct. This came as a shock to many, and thats when the rebellion started. A small group of dogs, wolves and hybrids banded together in order to show each race that they could live in peace with each other, and to put down some shaky steps to acceptance.
This worked somewhat, thought the races were still quite surprised that members from their groups would go against a hate that was years upon years old. Don't get me wrong, not everybody accepted the idea, and a few started their own packs because of it, to show that they still hated eachother with a burning passion, but for the most part it was peaceful. All three races began to accept each other, they came to reply on themselves for survival, they became a team of sorts.
To this day, there are still packs that are dead set against the idea, and they are gaining more and more followers. The ones that do accept each other are trying to stamp them out, but that doesn't always work. Will another full-fledged race war break out? Or will the peacekeeps be able to do just that, keep the peace?
